Research evaluating the Connect for Kinship and Foster Parents program has been published in a recent special issue of Child Welfare Journal (Vol. 97, No. 5)! This special issue delves into the challenges facing older teens and young adults as they navigate the foster care system, age out, and prepare for adulthood.
In this paper, we describe the adaptation and evaluation of Connect for Kinship and Foster Parents. It was found that Connect for Kinship and Foster Parents is associated with significant benefits for teens and their foster parents on par with findings for the original Connect program.
