Connect in Sweden: Video Update

The Connect Attachment Programs has been implemented across Sweden through collaboration between Dr. Marlene Moretti at Simon Fraser University and fellow co-collaborators and researchers from Humana, the University of Örebro, and Lund University. So far, parent groups have run at 28 sites, foster parent groups at 19 sites, and staff training has taken place at 19 sites.

As stated by Dr. Marlene Moretti, Connect is based on over 20 years of research. International research conducted in Sweden, Italy, United States, and Australia has shown that youth benefit by reductions in depression, anxiety, oppositional and conduct problems. Parents also benefit and have reported feeling more satisfied, effective, and less depressed.

Watch the video below to learn more about International research findings on Connect and Swedish facilitators' experiences with the project.
